The Weekend

So, we actually had quit a bit going on over the weekend, but somehow I managed to not take a single picture! Does anyone else do that, too? I had a college friend come to visit (Melissa Nance, for those of you who know who that is), and we didn't take a single picture together. I did take a pic of her on the back of Chris' bike since it was her first motorcycle ride ever, so maybe she will share those with me and I can actually post a pic on here for the first time in a long, long time. So, anyways, I apologize for having no new pics and for not even changing our boring old profile pic. It's just that Chris doesn't really like pics, and I have just been horrible about taking any. So we have very few pictures together at all. Basically our wedding pics and just a few others besides the one that is already up.
So, anyways, I was talking about our weekend....we headed to Carter Lake and hung out with his family and some friends with the boat (his parents'). Then we picked Melissa up and headed over to our new friends' place, Kurt and Sarah, for a cookout. Then Mel and I went shopping a bit at Centerra, the shops near our house. Sunday was church, hanging by the pool, going for a walk, chatting alot and having homemade pizza for dinner. Then Chris and I went back to work Monday and Tuesday so I dont know quite what Mel did, but we went to eat at Noodles & Co for dinner, a unique-to-Colorado place. And then Mel and I went to see Kung Fu Panda at the $3 theatre. And if you haven't' seen it, you should go, because it was precious! I giggled the entire way through!!!!
I am gonna end by letting all you Texans know our future TX visit schedule, but (sorry Allison), we will only be in the metroplex.....

I'm Back Online

I started a new job on Monday that will hopefully allow me to update this blog a lil more often. So, if you are one of the few who have kept looking here just in case I posted something...Thanks for sticking with us & look for more posts in the future.
My new title is just a Receptionist, but it's with a great Medical Education company in Fort Collins (Visible Productions), and it seems like a great place to work, with great people (many of whom are right around my age, which is really cool), and there looks to be some room to actually move up in the company. PLUS, the fact that I have 25 paid days off per year, that's pretty amazing, and I am pretty excited about it.
Chris is doing pretty well. We are doing great and are very blessed in many ways, but now that I have this new job with great benefits, I think he is going to start looking for a new job as well. His is pretty crappy (pardon my french). :) So, if you could pray about that with us, we'd LOVE that! Thanks!
So, look for more posts and hopefully some pics in the future!
