Prayers!!!!!!

Chris found an ad on Craigslist yesterday for a new hotel in Loveland that needs a videographer for 3.5 days in June. It will pay anywhere from $200-$500 per day, and it would be a GREAT foot in the door. He responded to it yesterday first thing but has not heard from anyone YET.
Would you PLEASE pray with us that this would workout, if it is the Lord's will? This would be a great opportunity, a great paycheck, and it sounds like alot of fun too! Thank you!!!

Also, update on Bridal Show on Sunday...there was alot more traffic at this show but only a few genuinely interested brides. Please continue to pray for the Lord to open HIS doors of opportunity for this business!

Love you all!

Video Stuff

Just wanted to update you...our second Bridal Show is this weekend, so please pray that we would make some good contacts there, and that we would make a good impression on the brides! I will post something next week to let you know how it goes. Also, I know I mentioned this earlier but just wanted to say again PRAISE GOD for Chris' first job that will be on May 1st! THANK YOU, LORD for this job, and please continue to pray for Him to open more and more doors and to give us continued patience and discernment with all of this!
Wish you all a safe and wonderful weekend!

Whirlwind

Seems like the past 2 weeks or so has been a crazy whirlwind for the DeGroots, but now we are kinda settling back in and such. Just wanted to give you a quick biz update...Chris will have his first "job" on May 1st. He will be filming an insurance video for a woman who heard about us from the "ad" (aka Press Release) we put in the local paper. So, praise God for that, and hopefully this one house will lead to many others. We actually already have 2 of our friends plus Chris' parents that want us to do their houses as well. :) YEA! Thank you, Lord!
Also, Autumn's visit was fun but a definite struggle for us. It made me realize how little I know her, though that shouldn't come as much of a shock since I haven't ever lived with her and have lived in a different state than her for a good majority of her life. It was also hard on us as a couple for many different reasons, which we are trying to understand and work through now. We are just such habitual people with such a set schedule that ONLY revolves around us, that I think it really throws us off to have visitors. Anyways, if you're one of the visitors we have had in the past and are going to come visit us in the future, please do not feel like this is knocking you or telling you not to come! OK? :)
So, anyways, hopefully that came out right, and I will post pics of Autumn's visit later as I forgot them today!
Love you all, and thank you so much for your continued interest and prayers!!!

Wednesday is my virtual Friday-woohoo!

So, hopefully this time, my lil 16-yr-old sis, Autumn, is actually going to make it to CO to visit. We will be picking her up tonight and then have a fun-filled long weekend ahead. We plan to go snowboarding, rock climbing, to see The Hannah Montana Movie, to a CO Ice game and to church so she can meet all our new and wonderful church family.
So, I will be outta commission for the next few days but promise to post pics and stories sometime next week.
Love you all!
